Derek_G - Fun loving but an intellectual type of person

Hello my name is Derek I am an ex-teacher ( Art , Ceramics Mathematics & I.T.) . I am interested in almost any aspect of the Arts or Sciences. I like playing the guitar , painting, walking in the countryside, ceramics , antiques and basically anything creative. I love reading ( a wide diverse selection of material from classics to modern thrillers. I have had a book of non-fiction published and just finished my first novel and I am currently looking for a publisher for that.I love live theatre and I also am very keen on cookery so I love good food too. I speak Swedish as a second language. I also have an interest in the late Victorian period in history ( 1890's) My friends say I have a witty sense of humour and I guess that is true .
The type of woman I am looking for is someone who is intelligent and likes the Arts ( possibly an interest in singing). Since I do not smoke I would prefer a non-smoker.
I am NOT interested in any form of competitive sport or politics or anyone involved with horses
