Rob56 - Happy go lucky guy seeks A Lass Who wishes to have a bit of romance in her life

So as you know my name ** from Ashford Kent. I am divorced for 18 years now with 2 grown up daughters one 20 and the other 22 they live with their mum some 5 miles away from me. I can’t work at present because of certain ailments I will tell you one day should you stick around? But my trade was in the printing Industry and I was well paid up to the point of sickness. I live in Council accommodation ( The Divorce left me Homeless and maintenance cost me the earth) – a one bedroom flat in a reasonable quiet area near to town and the main Ashford International Rail Station, but I don’t here much from it so I am quite happy where I am compared with some other estates in the bough

My hobbies are World War I & II and ships through the ages; I read watch and collect films and books about it. I like the countryside and coast I was brought up next to the sea and had a huge golf course on the back of our house, I miss it a lot so I am often down home and wander off for a walk at any time of the year   I read about everything from Geology – Archaeology- English History-Geography – Astrology. My music loves are from The Who- Genesis – Phil Collins Mike Oldfield pink Floyd – Adele - Lady Gaga – Elbow I also like folk music like the Fureys I like County music like Johnny Cash - Dolly Parton - Don Williams -The Dixie Chicks. I think I’m quiet good at general knowledge.

So really I like most things if it pops up and makes me think um/ lets read learn more I like bike riding in the country when possible but my arthritis in my knee gets bad some times so not as often as I want to I also like country walks with groups of people

Film wise Umm well I am a big fan of anything war    so the living room is often alive with bombs and bullet noises but I also like Love Actually - Notting Hill - Dances with Wolves I am a huge Monty Python Fan - Faulty Towers Cold Mountain - Only Fools And Horses

I’m happy go lucky really, I look and learn I can adapt, I love children   I try and steer clear of between warring couples, it brings to much trouble and heart ache with it don’t you think. I’ve had a few failed romances since being divorced but only one serious relationship since and that failed just my luck !?
