Samchip1988 - New year; New Start :)

Hi I'm Sam, 23, from a little town called Loftus

I'm a Agency Health Care Assistant caring for people with special needs, the elderly and disabled in care homes around the area. I've done it for nearly a year now and was a Support Worker before that for 3 working with people who had learning difficulties; supporting them in their own homes. It's an absolute privilege to do and so incredibly rewarding.

Outside work I'm studying at college to become a Counsellor which is what I would love to end up doing once I become qualified.

I love seeing friends, nights in or out, movies (Al Pacino all the way! Although you can't beat a good horror), reading (crime thriller or autobiography) and can't imagine a day without singing along to my music (everything from Michael Jackson to Alice Cooper to Phil Collins to Marilyn Manson... even the Spice Girls; sadly I'm not joking about the last one lol).

I'm a big believer in Humor and how it can be used as a tool to help people through their day. Even when the world's crumbling around you if you can still joke then chances are things are going to be ok. One of my favorite films is one called "Scarecrow" which led me to share one of the characters' ideas that I'd much rather believe that a crow is flying away from a Scarecrow NOT because it's scared but because it's laughing it's arse off at this one legged bloke in a scruffy over-sized coat with straw hair, lopsided hat and a dippy grin. Idealistic? maybe; but it feels right for me.

I'm just looking for a like minded person to share fun times, life and experiences with :)
