I've been separated for 2 years and am an outgoing, friendly, warm, intelligent person with a pleasant disposition and a liking for easy-going people. I'd like friendship and companionship, initially -after that, well, let's see what happens.
I firmly believe in honesty, truthfulness, integrity, love and commitment -for these are fundamental building blocks upon which solid relationships are built. I am very much a 'say it as I see it' kind of person, so what you see is what you get. I'm just an honest, up-front kinda bloke with decent standards and whose feet are planted firmly on the floor.
I have simple tastes and I'm not materialistic, for money and possessions mean very little in the greater scheme of things. The kind of lady I'm looking for will see me as greater than the sum of my parts, and will not judge me for what I have or don't have. Such a person will see others for the unique people they truly are and will appreciate the love and good things that I hopefully bring to her life.
I like a spot of fishing...going for a cycle along canal towpaths...walking in the countryside....having a drink in country pubs....sitting and chatting with my loved ones....doing a bit of writing....playing the odd computer game....reading...well, a bit of most things, really. The truth is, I'm easily pleased and have no need for life's extravagances. Peace of mind and inner contentment is far more important.
I'm quite a passionate, romantic man at heart and a big softie with the right lady. I've been told that I'm an attractive guy who looks 4 or 5 years younger than my age.
If you're looking for the materialistic type with money to spare, then I'm definitely not your man. If, however, the simple -but important- things in life mean much more to you....well, maybe we're singing from the same hymn sheet. Drop me a line if this sounds like you -but good luck in your search all the same ;-)
