Normal, clinically sane divorcee looking for a special person to be in my life and who will welcome me in theirs.I appreciate intelligence, good conversation, a sense of humour, and an interest in world affairs, the arts, the outdoors, the dawn chorous, the simplicity and beauty of a daffodill. Essentially I am an eternal optimist, nobody escapes pain in life, without pain we don't become whole. So I expect that the guy i meet to have a story behind them, preferably dealt with. No broken hearts please, it was enough to heal my own !!
I love a good joke and though serious in nature i always find the silver lining in the darkest cloud. I enjoy lots of things in life, i am a good all- rounder with expertise in very little, eg playing golf for the past 4 years and still have a handicap of 36!! I enjoy the outdoors and I can regularly be seen out on our beautiful hills. At the same time I love to dance and dress up for a night out. I am generally considered to be a good mixer, good company and i would be popular in the workplace.
I enjoy theatre, live performances, cinema, reading, good food and a good wine. I am warm loyal and passionate about the underdog .
The things I find most attractive in a man are confidence, sense of humor, an ability to make me laugh, someone who takes care of their appearance, silver grey hair is a real turn on for me, but above all else stimulation of the mind and good conversation is key !
